Jeanne Mignard
"It's gratifying to know my support will live on."
From the moment she retired, Jeanne Mignard knew she wanted to help
Huntington Hospital, and she began volunteering in our errand and escort
program. "I really enjoy going to the different areas of the hospital and
meeting so many people," she says. "I get thanked all the time for just
doing what I love!"
Several years ago, Jeanne expanded her support for the hospital to include
an unrestricted bequest gift. "The hospital does so much good for our
community, and I like the idea that I will be helping beyond my lifetime,"
Jeanne says.
The importance of Huntington Hospital's work was underscored for Jeanne
after a series of personal care experiences. As a result, Jeanne expanded
her bequest to include gift provisions for the hospital's
breast-cancer program, and for our
Nan and Howard Schow Emergency & Trauma Center. "I'm simply a longtime supporter who wants to see the hospital thrive
beyond my years."
